Seeds per Acre = ⌈Target Plants per Acre ÷ (Germination % ÷ 100)⌉
Total Seeds = Seeds per Acre × Total Acres
Worked Example
**Example:** 3 acres, 28,000 target plants/acre, 90% germination
Seeds/Acre = ⌈28,000 ÷ 0.90⌉ = **31,112**
Total = 31,112 × 3 = **93,336 seeds**
